Rhea, was a premium foal at inspection, Dutch Mare by the rare Gelderlander Stallion Patrick, by Dutch mare Gifted Feet.The pure-bred Gelderlander stallion Patrick stood at stud in America. He was a showjumper at international level himself. In the American rankings of sires of international dressage horses he is in the top-ten of America and second of the KWPN-stallions, only outnumbered by Roemer a KWPN-approved stallion bred in Germany. Patrick reached the age of 25 years and could have contributed excellent to the increase of Gelderlander bloodlines.
Patrick was one of last of the Gelderlanders, the base breed for the Dutch Warmblood, in the World. Famous for the quality of his mares, Patrick remains a huge influence on Dutch Breeding in North America; in 1999 he was in the Top Ten Stallions List published by the USDF for offspring results. This progeny continue their success in show rings all over the country, and will carry out his legacy for years to come.
Rhea stands 16 hands, wonderful elastic gaits, temperament and perfect confirmation. She is sound and a nice riding mare. She is a maiden mare, she delivered her first foal on May 3, 2006 by our KWPN stallion Urbanus. Her foal Roken is defiantely a foal to keep! He got the best both his parents had to offer.
