This page is dedicated to the memory of my best friend and girlie girl Sunshine. We lost her in 2004 to a tragic and avoidable hit and run outside our farm.  She was a rescue dog I found in Houston on one of my horse show ventures. We loved her dearly, she touched so many lives in such a sweet caring way that only she could. When we had twins and had to bring Elijah into our home for the first week she never left his side. She cleaned him, slept with him, and made him get up when he just didn’t have the will too. She also took a small kitten Thomas under her wing that we found in our hay barn.  She raised him as her own and protected him while she lived. She took it upon herself to guard and protect my niece and nephews when they came to stay with us and made sure we were always entertained. She preferred zooming around on our golf cart than walking and could often be seen taking a nap on the front seat. She was a joy to take a nap with, she was the perfect snugly pillow. Walking around on my farm today I still feel her running beside me greeting all her friends, just happy to be!

If there is a heaven, she will be waiting for me and I will know that I am in heaven.            Mary

Goldie, rescued in 2004 with her brother Joey. They were found on the roadside by thier mother who was hit by a car.Someone had obvisouly dumped them off in the country. A kind woman stopped and helped me round them up before they also got hit. Thank You..Goldie is a farm favorite, she likes to support auditors of our clinics and kisses your fingers while you walk around on the farm. She is a very sweet girl.

Joey, Goldies brother was named after little Joe on Bonanza cause he rode a black and white paint horse. I never have seen a smiling dog before, but he greets everyone with a big teeth showing smile. He loves to run constantly and play in our stock tank. He would like to sleep on Kenneth’s pillow for has settle for sleeping on his feet instead.

Momma Kitty, rescued in 1989 in Fort Worth. When I bought my first house, she showed up with a kitten and no one claimed her. So we kept her. She had another litter of kittens, all white long hairs. She has out lived them all. No one knows for sure how old she really is.

Baily, rescued in 1995. He was the best friend to my Doby Adolf that passed on several years ago. He was rescued by a friend at a boarding stable, she gave him away to a young couple that shortly afterwards had to give him up. He then came to live with us where he lives his life loving children that come for lessons and auditors from our dressage clinics.

Jezebel, our sweetie.  I picked her up from the breeder in December of 2004. Heartbroken from the loss of Sunshine, I needed her love to make me whole again. She is half Australian Shepherd and half Great Pyrenees. She is a joy, a wonderful guard dog and LOVES us dearly.

Daisy, rescued in 2000. She was chasing a coyote down in the field behind us. The kids fell in love with her, so she joined our family. Very protective Lab, was not suitable to be placed in another home. She likes to chew up rolls of toilet paper and decorate my bedroom floor. I think she might have been a bad designer in another life. The most loyal dog I have ever had!

Thomas, our big male was rescued in our barn in 2003. Someone tossed him off in front of our farm and he made his way up to the main barn. Sunshine raised him and he was everyone’s favorite love buddy and the best hunter we ever had. He has been missing since March, believed to be a casualty of Coyotes.

Little Emily was given to us by Carson’s Farm and we have loved her dearly. She is a great little mouser (though she likes to bring them inside). She just had her first litter of Kittens this April and we are keeping all four.

Maybelline, rescued 2005. She was literally tossed out of a moving truck in front of me while a horse auction was going on. Apparently someone was going to take her home and then changed their minds. I almost hit her. Lucky for her when I opened the cab of my truck she jumped in. She is Jezebels best friend.
